What an Estimate Is

The numbers and ranges our estimate wizard produces are planning tools, not prices. They are built from the information you provide and are intended to give you a realistic order-of-magnitude sense of what a custom server build or infrastructure project might involve. They are a starting point for a conversation — not a commitment.

What Affects the Final Scope

Every project is different. The actual cost and timeline of a DimeStack build depends on a range of factors that no online form can fully capture. These include the current availability and pricing of specific hardware components, the complexity of any data migration involved, your actual storage requirements once the full workload is understood, the security architecture required for your use case, what infrastructure you are starting from, and the level of post-build support you choose.

Any of these factors can shift a final proposal meaningfully from what the wizard produced. That is not a flaw in the tool — it is the honest reality of custom work.

Nothing Is Binding Until It Is in Writing

No estimate, number, range, or communication from this website constitutes a binding quote or contract. A binding agreement exists only when both parties have reviewed the complete project scope and signed a written proposal. Until that document exists, no price, timeline, or delivery commitment is enforceable.

What Happens Next

After you submit an estimate request, a DimeStack representative will contact you to review your answers, ask clarifying questions, and understand the full picture before any formal proposal is prepared. We will not send you a final proposal without that conversation first.
